I'd like to mention some other emulators as well while we are at it, Let me know if I should create a separate thread for each instead... (or Maybe an official pinned poll for other player methods + emulators could be added?)

PPSSPP/PPSSPP Gold (PSP)
DuckStation (PlayStaion 1)
AetherSX2 + NetherSX2 (PlayStaion 2, main AetherSX2 project is abandoned)
PCSX2 (PlayStation 2, Can't run demanding games as good as AetherSX2 + NetherSX2)

I personally don't see much point in something like Duckstation/PCSX2 since they're so stable and their performance usually equates windows' users, but RPSC3/Xemu/Xenia are good shouts
